Character Inspiration

Instagram is such a great social media app. One of the things I really love are the monthly prompts and hashtags people create to build up the writer community.

I'm participating in Author Life Month and I loved today's prompt: character inspiration. It's not unusual for people to post celebrity photos of who they picture for their characters. Mine have gone back and forth over the years. But here is who I currently picture for Nate and Charlie.

I also snuck in one of my favorite lines from my book. Here's what it says if you can't read it:

He's my kryptonite.

Shove a photo of Nate Walsh in front of my face

and I'll snap like a freakin' cracker.
