So, on my author Facebook account (are we friends there? Come on by and friend request me...I'm a lot of fun, I promise), I noted that this weekend I'm going up to Grand Forks, North Dakota.

I know.

Quite the hot spot of the midwest, huh?

My undergraduate is located there and I'm going up to watch hockey this weekend. We've had the game planned for months when single game tickets went on sale. Getting tickets to a North Dakota hockey game isn't easy, and typically they're up in the rafters.

But we got awesome seats and that small victory of getting good seats--having a little retail therapy to drive away the election nonsense--made me realize I could share and pass on that joy to others.
